Differentiate your business with an Azure specialization.
Today’s technology customers are looking for highly skilled specialized partners, and their demands are more complex than ever.
Microsoft specializations validate your capability to deliver specialized services and support according to Microsoft’s highest technical standards with an independent audit.
Obtaining an Azure specialization allows you to showcase your expertise, drive confidence with customers, and get priority access to Microsoft sales engagements. It also opens doors to new opportunities and financial benefits that can help accelerate your business growth.
Partner journey
As a Microsoft consulting or services delivery partner, you may apply for one or more Azure specializations by demonstrating technical capability, staff skilling, and proof of previous customer success.
The detailed pre-requisites are unique to each specialization, but typically all of them will require:
- An active Gold Cloud Platform competency
- Delivery of relevant Azure services, demonstrated through associated Azure revenue from customers
- Staff with relevant technical certifications
If you meet all the pre-requisites, you can initiate scheduling the third-party audit through your Partner Center dashboard. During the audit, you will be asked to show documentation from previous customer projects, including architecture diagrams and frameworks.

After passing the audit, you will receive materials to help you promote your new designation with customers.
You will also be onboarded to specific sales and marketing programs that are available to your specific Azure specialization.
